i don't mind

by Rachel Lynch

It takes some getting used to, and I don't mind. The white sea's so wild, but here we are on this Brooklyn morning. Sun creeps in through the square window-panes, I know you're right. Simple black coffee for the simple morning mind. Legs crossed on the wooden chair, summer-skin starting to emerged. Everything is how it's suppose to be, morning creature in the morning light. Things aren't as whole, but I don't mind. I see the sky, and put my heart into that blue.
