in the garden of my mind,

by Rachel Lynch

in the garden of my mind,

where the good seeds grow,

and the bad dissolves away-

i have loved many times,

but none like what i am about to find.

a seed with roots so deep,

they intertwine with my own.

a love worth worrying about,

a dream worth deciphering,

does she dance like you?

so free upon her earthbound feet.

certainly souls like hers,

have been planted here before.
