"daydreaming"

there is a way in which we each do things and see the world. it is individual, in fact, the particularities of our human experience are so idiosyncratic, that there is truly no one like us.

to you, my world may seem deep, hyper-sexual, romantic — but i am simply bringing forth what is it my head. i create images words and feelings when i’m paid and when i’m not. most times, it’s the latter. i do it because i can’t not do it. it is really that simple.

in college my mom called my blog “a narcissist project” but that was from her world view. being an influencer seems selfish because it’s actual images of ourselves, but isn’t everything we each do about us? creating actual images of yourself every day is visceral and potent, but it is the same as the person working day in and day out for their own respective dream.

all i’m saying is you’ve got to do what you can’t not do. which is something you’d do whether you are paid to do it or not. eventually, it will bring you money. if you’re in a place right now and thinking about doing something else because it “makes more money” i’d tell you to stop. or take the work, and work relentlessly away at night on your true dream or passion.

i want everyone around me to succeed. i want my photographer, katie, to be bigger and better than me. i want my siblings to be far richer and happier than i could ever be.

focus on your dream - and want better for the people around you.
