i learned a lot about love in that season of my life.

a pandemic spring yielded a dramatic cross-borough affair.

he rode a motorcycle and brought out my dark side,

his stature was grander than any i had met before,

strong defined muscles under every inch of his flesh,

i sabotaged it all, and laughed while doing it,

maybe i just didn’t let myself love someone as beautiful as him.
