The lights will go out all around us and we'll fall into humanity. Benevolence was once coveted, held consecrated and hallow in their hearts. It all withers away now with little effort. It doesn't take a lot to lose it. You can detach without the slightest bit of remorse, draw into yourself and stay there for a winter.

I used to be of that kind, living alone in my thoughts. But you see, there's no fire in my mind, solitude gives little light. So I ran out into the snow, bleached my skin in the ice storm and felt the frozen water beneath my feet. I ran to the center of the woods, where I felt most alive. And it was there, that I built a fire for you and I.

Blonde bangs it out for a colder NYC  in studded booties, black shades and a mohair sweater. I think I've found my perfect look for running from subway to subway this winter. The Dr Marten mohair sweater is exceptionally warm and the stud booties are perfect for day meetings/ extremely easy to get around in. Always keeping a black pair of shades on helps you fly under the radar.

What are your November nececities? Have you looked at Dr Martens boots if you're going to be braving the snow? Where are you getting a winter jacket from? (I'm still on the hunt for the perfect one!)
