to live with ghosts requires solitude

by Rachel Lynch in

please don't worry lover, I've included photographs. Who would know what to make of all these days. I'm writing with a pencil. Substantial instrument for not so substantial thoughts.  Can you tell me why you've been so sad? I'm sorry my letter is in fragment structure, but I think in fragment thoughts.

remember that canyon fever and harvest moon? There was an american flag tacked over the window so it didn't get too bright. We were feeling pretty easy in our skin. It was 3 a.m. and we laid on the floor all covered in breath. We were lazy as honey. But in any-case, please don't be so sad. It hasn't been that long.
