the golden coast

These shots were taken downtown by Joe Kelly who was in from pennsylvania. We stopped traffic with the help of the hotel bellmen setting up cones for all the taxis and cars to go around. We caught the golden sunset just as it was going down. Up against a barred fence in all white and a large crucifix, summer is waiting to emerge.

The world is waiting to come into my skin, but I can't allow anything in that doesn't uplift my spirit. There are so many things that have what I call, "spirit-killing" abilities. When you're spirit's dead, it shows. These past few days have been highly emotional and have brought me to my knees.

It's time to be re-born.

Something from Romans to keep at all times,

"And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us"

Behind the scenes downtown, gettin our lighting on.
