At the changing of season, I always seem to find myself immersed in literature. I finish a book a week. Sometimes I like to think that I'm searching for a new identity, a new character to be to embrace the adjustment of weather. I'm about to finish Stranger in a Strange Land this week, gifted to me by a dear friend. Then I plan on reading Leo Tolstoy's Religious writings and maybe Franny and Zooey after that. I want to try to finish two books before fashion week, but it feels like things are already getting crazy. It's hard to make time to lose yourself in another person's story, we're all so obsessed with being the dramatic lead in our own lives. But I find that when I do take the time to read, all aspects of my creative life improve.
