A few weeks ago, I headed over to Greenpoint to shoot the lookbook for Nicole Alyse's new store, American Gypsy Vintage with Kimi Selfridge of Tan Camera.  Walking into Nicole's new apartment is like walking into every girl's dream. The entire place is covered with vintage finds, iron cast beds, jewelry, mirrors, purses, pink lip gloss and shoes. She turned an entire room into a closet and filled in with clothing racks and walls of shoes.

If you're like me, you have a soft spot for a good vintage rock and roll tee or harley tee and Nicole could honestly be named Brooklyn's expert in that department. When I arrived, she had lined her living room with outfits and looks for me to try on. I wore neon 80's tees and sat on a skateboard in front of her fridge, played with plastic fruit and pretended to be the brooklyn version of barbie in her all pink bathroom.

It was a ton of fun, and Nicole & Kimi's energy is amazing. Check out American Gypsy Vintage if you find yourself needing a little vintage treat. I promise the website is just as fun as the energy of these two lovely ladies.
