"They must do what they have to do, in order to do what they want to do"

They tell me to go home, they put me in the back of the class.

They charge me for an education, they take from me what should be free.

They tell me I'm stupid, because I want to be an artist and an educator.

They tell me I won't make any money and I'll never get anywhere doing that.

I say to them can't you see, can't you see, We are the luckiest men on earth.


Because we have the most important job in America. The education of our young people.
